Subject Area: French Studies

This course provides an introductory level program in French language study from a communicative and task-based approach. A lot of the instruction is in French. Students develop their listening and speaking skills through a number of different activities, as well as their reading and writing skills in French. Topics include communication, travel, cuisine, celebrations, cultural activities in France and the Francophone world as well as national and international concerns.
