Description Artificial Intelligence Concepts in Robotics. The approach is experimental, with hands-on experience with a small mobile robot kit. Topics covered will include a selection from: history and philosophy of robotics, hardware components and subsystems, sensors, measurements and perception, robotic architectures, multiple robot systems, localisation problem and solutions, robot learning, navigation and obstacle avoidance, robot planning, robot vision and vision processing.
