Description

Students will be introduced to the basics of the physical sciences through a selection of topics in three areas: motion and ballistics; waves in optical and remote sensing systems; thermodynamics of the terrestirial environment, including the atmosphere and the ocean. The laboratory program is comprised of six three-hour sessions relating to and supplementing the lecture course.
