Description

Building on their first practicum experience, students are placed in a different social welfare agency to develop additional competencies and further enhance those already mastered at a basic level. By the end of this practicum students need to demonstrate satisfactory performance on the full range of required practice competencies in addition to formal academic assessment. Students are again consulted in decisions about practicum allocations. The practicum is undertaken as a full-time block period, beginning in late-July and extending throughout Session 2.
