Description

This subject will allow students at any level of experience to explore the use of alternative materials and procedures in printmaking. Through lectures, demonstrations and projects students will gain understanding and skills in the uses of inexpensive and low-tech materials in the production of medium to large scale printworks. Emphasis will be placed upon investigating and exploiting the manner in which these materials and techniques influence the resulting imagery with respect to contemporary practice.
