Description

The aim of this course is provide a detailed background in the physical principles which underpin the behaviour of materials, in particular those in nanostructured state. It will be then demonstrated how these principles are practically applied in the preparation, testing, behaviour and application of nanomaterials, especially those in thin film form. Such materials are widely used in a range of applications such as sensors, biomedical coatings, high wear resistant and corrosion resistant coatings.
