Description

The program consists of three components:

(1) the undertaking of either an original piece of research extending throughout the year and the submission of a 15,000-word thesis based upon it, or a research project, also year-long, involving a practical project or a creative writing project and the submission of a written paper of 7,000 words or a piece of fictocriticism.

(2) the completion of a Research Methods seminar in Session 1,

(3) the completion of a Special Topic Seminar in Session 1.

Throughout both semesters, students are required to participate in regular thesis workshops.
