Description

This Honours year is designed specifically for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry program. It provides a truly interdisciplinary and collaborative experience with a strong emphasis on basic research skills, from modelling and synthesis through to evaluation of biological activity. Other essential skills such as interpretation of data and presentation techniques are integrated throughout the course. The Honours year consists of a major research project, series of lectures on contemporary chemistry and pharmacology, as well as seminars on relevant professional and ethical topics.

Note: Honours consists of 48 UoC taken over two sessions each consisting of 24 UoC.
