Description

Applications of community biology, population and genetics to management of environmental problems in nature and artificial ecosystems, including Australian examples; nature and importance of global diversity; management and design of programs for the conservation of species and ecosystems, including reserves, off-site conservation, and computer simulations.

Note : Field excursions are compulsory and will involve expense to individual students.
