Fundamentals of circulatory physiology; structure and function of large arteries; oscillatory phenomena; relationships of pulsatile pressure and flow; arterial properties and wave propagation; wave reflection; blood rheology; microcirculation; cardiac biophysics; cardiac dynamics; dynamics of assisted circulation; regulation of pressure and flow; cardiovascular control.

Note: Some mathematics background desirable.
