Description

This course will introduce students to the evaluation of aircraft for airline operations. It will first extend previous work in the degree program on engine and aircraft performance. Topics on evaluation of fitness for purpose include route matching, range load graphs, environmental constraints, indirect and direct and operating costs, maintenance requirements, fleet capacity, crew requirements, safety and reliability.
