Description

Responsive objects or spaces are those that are mediated, in this case by simple low cost open-source electronic hardware and software. This course focuses on processes involved in the creation, design and application of responsive objects and or spaces to a design brief and includes critical analysis of historically significant interactive designs and applications. Students will experiment with a range of low cost sensors and will investigate, research and create content that utilise various techniques and could be integrated into jewellery, furniture, lighting, environments or textiles projects to create fun and engaging interactive objects and spaces.
