Description

This course looks at the institutional regulatory framework in which employment relations are conducted in Australia and internationally and their impact on workplace dynamics. Its focus is on the role of formal regulation and the State, employees and their organisations and employers and their organisations. It includes attention to the legal dimensions of pay, industrial action, varying employment modes, healthy and safe work systems, termination of employment and equity and discrimination.
