Description


This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle many of the complex strategic decisons facing modern managers. Topics to be covered include: the economics of mergers and acquisitions; strategic competition over prices, quality characteristics and capacity; profitability and entry into new industries; R&D and the strategic importance of innovation; collusion and other methods to reduce competition and the role of networks in modern economies.
