Description

The course provides training in skills needed for the Honours project and any subsequent degree as well as in outside employment. Principal topics covered include occupational health and safety, presentation skills (written, oral and audiovisual, including computer-aided presentations), professional ethics and issues of scientific fraud, database and library usage, information retrieval, overview of quantitative skills, as well as more specific research or professional skills which may be tailored to particular interest groups.

Note: Available to students enrolled in an Honours program offered by the School of BEES, and other Honours students as approved by the Honours Co-ordinator.
