Description

This course explores the construction of 'Australia' through its representations across a range of historical issues and texts. It critically examines representations of the nation as a unified cultural space, focusing on the anxieties that have been generated as the dominant Anglo culture has reacted with and represented diverse Indigenous and immigrant cultures over the past century.
