Description

A laboratory based course undertaken on Altium Nonoboard FPGA trainers using soft processors culminating in a small project involved sound, graphics and serial communications. Introduction to programming in the C language. Program development, debugging and execution on an 8 bit embedded microprocessor system. Unconditional input/output interfacing. Interfacing of keyboards, displays, motors, RS232, ADC's and DAC's. I/O interfacing using interrupts. Introduction to cooperative and pre-emptive tasking.
