Description This course introduces the content and methods of psychology as a basic science, with emphasis on the biological bases of behaviour. Specific topics covered in this course include: perception, learning, memory, motivation, emotion, and abnormal behaviour. After describing the basic phenomena within an area, the goal will be to explore the neural bases of these behaviours. In addition, training in the methods of psychological inquiry and basic procedures of data analysis is also provided.
