Description

Each student is required to perform the following design tasks for a vessel of their choice and submit the results: 1. Collection of published data on similar existing vessels. 2. First estimate of dimensions. 3. Preliminary general arrangement. 4. Preliminary lines plan. 5. Preliminary weight estimate and stability. 6. Preliminary powering to establish propeller and main machinery, or rig, sail and auxiliary machinery.
