Description
Explores a reportoire of professional discourses, including social commentories, art reviews, science reports, newpaper articles, business and legal documents. Students are given opportunities to improve on competence in professional and business settings.
Learning Outcomes
- Communicate accurately and appropriately in Korean, using various styles and conveying detailed explanations
- Be able to extract and process information from a wide range of written texts for a range of professional purposes
- Respond creatively to written and visual texts, discussing own interpretations or arguing own opinions
- Create a range of written texts, using a style appropriate to the context and the text-type
- Discuss a range of topics on Korean society and business culture using socio-culturally appropriate language
