Description

This course explores philosophical perspectives and epistemological assumptions underpinning different research approaches and methodologies in IS research. It includes advanced debates and workshops on research approaches, IS theories, methodologies, specific methods and techniques of data collection and analysis, theory building or testing, etc. This will assist students in formulating research questions, selecting, justifying and applying research approaches and methodologies appropriate for answering their questions, as well as in conducting and presenting their research competently and effectively.
