Description

Aims to enable students to communicate in a Greek-speaking environment, to discuss everyday topics, and, for example, to read and write a simple letter.

Note: Intended for students without any knowledge of Greek.


Learning Outcomes

  • Hold a basic conversation on every day topics (Introductions, shopping, etc.)
  • Acquire a knowledge of basic grammar
  • Able to read, write and compose a simple text on an every day topic.

Assessment

  • Two in-session written tests - 30%
  • Two aural assessments - 20%
  • Two oral assessments - 30%
  • Participation - 20%
