Description

Designed for students with advanced German language skills. Extends and consolidates these skills through the study of authentic German texts discussing contemporary issues in German-speaking societies.


Learning Outcomes

  • Extend listening and speaking skills
  • Read and discuss texts of moderate complexity
  • Write 200-300 word essays discussing complex ideas
  • Extend understanding of German grammar.

Assessment

  • Participation and homework - 20%
  • Assignments - 30%
  • Oral presentation - 20%
  • Written test - 30%
