Description

Examines a number of political, social, cultural and religious issues pertaining both to particular countries in Asia and more broadly to the region.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to:
  • Analyse, think critically and write clearly about important issues relating to Asia.

Assessment

  • Short essay - 20%
  • In-class test - 20%
  • Final essay - 60%
