Description


This practical workplace experience is accompanied by a reading program. The reading component examines different approaches to the study of organisations, their structures, functions, and policies, and links these issues to the internship experience.

Note: Students must have achieved a credit level or better average across the courses in their degree. The internship may be included as part of a major sequence in the degree courses of the Faculty with the permission of the relevant Head of School.

Learning Outcomes


In accordance with UNSW Learning and Teaching Guidelines, we expect to engage students in learning through structured hands-on activities within their host organisation, encourage independent and reflective learning, and provide meaningful and timely consultation and feedback.

Each internship is different and depending on the host organisation and the tasks involved students may gain experience in the following skills:
