Description

Building upon previous environment and structures/construction subjects this subject provides a platform for integrated environmental design. With a focus on the 'architectural environment' knowledge of ecological, bioclimatic, structure and construction theory, lighting and acoustics will be integrated with digital environmental analysis, modelling and simulation through studio design projects. The objective of this subject is to strengthen students ability to demonstrate an integrated understanding of architectural interdependencies, experience and change through digital and manual analysis and representation, and large-scale resolution of architectural details.
