Description Examines thought and practices of human rights in connection with questions of sex and sexual relations. Conceptions of equality, autonomy and freedom will be examined, with some reference to classic liberal expositions of justice and the rights of the person. Areas include discrimination and harassment, abortion, prostitution and sexual slavery, pornography, sexual violence and rape. Attention will be given to both domestic and international policy in these areas.
