Description

Telecommunication Fundamentals: Free space propagation characteristics, phasors, spectrum analysis Analogue: continuous wave modulation (AM, DSB, SSB, VSB, QAM, FM and PM), complex envelope, error and noise analysis. Digital: sampling, quantisation, Digital Baseband (PAM, PWM, PPM, PCM, DM, and line coding), Passband: techniques (Binary and M-ary signalling ASK, PSK, FSK, QPSK, QAM), multiplexing techniques (FDM, TDM and quadrature multiplexing) intersymbol interference and eye diagrams. Systems: Satellite communication fundamentals.
