Description Explores the legal, professional and ethical opportunities and constraints of social work practice. Includes a consideration of the tensions and dilemmas of socio-legal practice through an examination of social work interventions in selected settings. Attention is paid to legal systems, legal concepts, law making processes, and sources of legal assistance and interactions between social workers and lawyers.
