Description

This course introduces students to the relationship between landscape architectural design, materials and construction. Topics covered include material selection, standard construction practices, basic structural design, detailing and specifications. Soft and hard landscape elements are included, but emphasis is given to walls, paving, steps, decks, drainage, roads and plant material. Students learn to resource and document design details and materials.
