Description


This course provides an introduction to the concepts, design techniques and technology for the storage and management of data. Students gain an appreciation of the need for databases in a organisational context and a range of basic database related concepts. In addition, students gain the required knowledge and practical skills in entity-relationship modelling and the the degn validation tachniques. They will also implement a small bur realistic database using Microsoft Access.
