Description

Studies key concepts and theories in regional economic geography; theories of location and regional development, spatial interaction, uneven development, and structural change; economic and regional problems in Australia.

The course includes field work, workshops and practical skills in regional and spatial analysis.

This course is taught as a field school in winter session.

Note: Due to revisions of Geography at UNSW, all courses previously offered as GEOH3641 have been given an equivalent course code GEOS3641 from semester 1, 2007.
