Description Introduces students to the many cultural influences, which contributed to the formation of the ancient world along the 'Silk Road'. The 'Silk Road' has been the link between the great civilisations of Europe and Asia. Travelled by conquerors, missionaries, traders and explorers, the 'Silk Road' carried ideas, religion, arts, technologies, cuisines and diseases, as well as silk and trade goods of all descriptions.
