Description

The core of human factors and ergonomics, involves 'designing for human use'. This course, therefore, examines basic human cognitive and physical capabilities and limitations and the factors that influence performance and applies these to people in aviation (e.g. pilots, air traffic controllers, security personnel, maintenance engineers, cabin crew) and their technology, tasks and environments. The focus of the course is primarily on the individual, rather than the team or organisation.
