Description

This course will provide Medical Science students with an overview of human body structure and development. It will introduce them to the gross anatomy of each of the major body systems. Simple clinical examples will be used to demonstrate the relationship between structure and function. The course will also cover basic principles of early human development (embryology) and body imaging. Teaching will be based on the use of anatomical specimens and radiological images, supported by lectures and tutorials.

This course is restricted to students enrolled in program 3991 Bachelor of Medical Science.
