Description This course is based on a series of colloquia given by visiting specialists on topics of historical, philosophical and contemporary relevance in medical science. It is intended, as a sequel to SCIF1110, to broaden students' understanding of the extent to which science is important throughout society, well beyond laboratory-based conceptions of scientific activity.
