Description

An extension of EDST1101. Focuses on learning and instruction in academic domains. Topics include cognitive processes involved in reading, in writing, in mathematics and science. Related research and implications for instruction are discussed.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course students should be able to discuss the instructional implications of research on cognitive processes involved in reading, writing, mathematical problem solving, and science problem solving.
