Description

This course provides a grounding in the fundamental strategic and managerial components of the tourism and the hospitality industry, and analyses the characteristics of key industry segements. Strategic, managerial and policy issues are analysed and evaluated. Topics include: structural frameworks of the industry, legislative frameworks, environmental and market frameworks, transport, lodging, events and attractions, and special interests.
