Students are required to complete 80 hours of work experience with an approved organisation under the supervision of the placement program officer.
Course availability: it is intended that students will complete this placement over semester 1. The student chooses, after consultation and academic advice, to undertake a structured internship in a relevant professional area. This is done under the supervision of an accredited exercise physiologist with suitable industry experience. The supervisor will ensure adequate records of activities and skills developed by the student. Students will be assessed by the submission of a substantial report of the internship, together with the submission of the completed journal and a seminar presentation.
