Macro-economic principles: fiscal policy, investment and monetary policy, Inflation and unemployment. Basic accounting concepts, interpreting financial statements. Management accounting. The legal environment of business: contracts, products and services liability. Industrial relations: industrial conflict, wage determination. Operations management: systems, strategies and benefits. Quality assurance, and quality management systems, elements of total quality management, TQM.
