Description

In this course we examine the historical background to the advent of scientific medicine in the 19th and 20th centuries, looking particularly at the intellectual climate which made such innovations possible. This course is restricted to students enrolled in programs 3991 Bachelor of Medical Science and 3821 Science/ Medicine. Assessment by written work and participation, open-book class test.
