Description

To develop an understanding of the anatomy and biology of the cell. Cell biology combines traditional anatomical methods with recent cell and molecular biology techniques. Key concepts will include developmental differentiation of the cell, its polarity, motility, cytoskeleton, signal tranduction mechanisms, and outcomes. An introduction to concepts of cell and extracellular matrix interactions will also be covered. Session in which course will run to be determined.
