![]() Contacts Overview St Vincent's Hospital has been training medical students since 1898. It became a Clinical School of The University of New South Wales in 1968.
Commencing in 2004 UNSW medical students will be introduced to Clinical Studies and the hospital setting from Year 1 when they are rostered here for 1 tutorial each fortnight, in Year 2 they are here 1 day per week. In Year 3, students attend the hospital 3 days per week. In Year 4 and Year 6, students are here on a full-time basis with addition rotations to rural hospitals. The number of UNSW students at St Vincent's Hospital ranges from approximately 200 students per year. This number is augmented by the number of overseas medical students also attached to the Clinical School for their Elective Term. Contact Details St Vincent's Clinical School
