Overview

The St George Clinical School is located off the University campus at the St George Hospital, which is a principal teaching hospital of UNSW.

A wide range of clinical studies at an undergraduate level is offered at the Clinical School. The number of UNSW medical students attending St George as part of their clinical studies ranges is 300 per year. This number is augmented by the number of overseas medical students attached to the Clinical School for their elective studies.

The Clinical School has an active research program with more than 40 postgraduate research students currently enrolled and working on a variety of projects. The School has particular strengths in a number of areas including Cancer, Immunology, Rheumatology, Renal Medicine, Gastroenterology and others.

The St George Clinical School is committed to offer excellence in education and research.
