Overview

The Prince of Wales Clinical School is in the North Wing of the Edmund Blacket Building and it is the Faculty of Medicine office for medical students at the Prince of Wales Hospital. Associate Professor Phil Jones, Director of the Clinical Teaching Unit, and Jenny Ryall, Administrative Officer, provide the supervision and support at the school.

In addition to the usual administrative responsibilities, the Clinical School prides itself on personal contact and care of students. The "Electronic Classroom" is a wonderful forum for communication at home and abroad.

There are over 300 students attending the Prince of Wales Clinical School from Year 1 onwards. The Clinical School offers a variety of learning experiences in a broad range of clinical settings. Students in Years 1, 2, 3 and 4 are based in the Prince of Wales Hospital while students in Year 6 have the opportunity to attend a number of associated teaching hospitals.
