![]() Contacts Overview The School of Marketing at UNSW is a centre of excellence in marketing management and marketing thought. It combines academic rigour and practical relevance, a combination which inspires our research priorities and underpins our teaching.
The School of Marketing offers undergraduate programs leading to the award of the degrees of Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics. It also offers a specialist four year undergraduate degree program in Marketing, Tourism and Hospitality Management. Able students may take an additional year to obtain Honours. Opportunities for postgraduate study are available within the School. The coursework masters program leads to the award of Master of Commerce, with a specialisation or advanced specialisation in Marketing. There is also the option of specialising in Marketing, Tourism and Hospitality Management. The Media Sales certificate program prepares students for careers in media sales, media buying and marketing communications. This customised program is run in conjunction with industry. A small number of places are available each year for students wishing to undertake doctoral research. Research activity is facilitated through formal research courses, a working paper series, the provision of research grants, a seminar program and conference support. Two research centres are located within the School: the Centre for Applied Marketing and the Centre for Tourism Policy Studies.
