Optometry

Description

Optometry is the study of vision and the visual system. It encompasses the study of measuring, assessing and correcting vision (for example, by prescribing lenses), as well as eye health, vision problems, eyes diseases and other abnormalities. At UNSW, professional training (including clinical optometry) is integrated with the study of the fundamentals of visual and ocular science.
