Description
Aerospace Engineering is concerned with the design, development, construction, testing and manufacture of aircraft and aerospace vehicles, with the maintenance and operation of aircraft, and with research in related areas. Courses include design, structural analysis, fluids, aerodynamics, manufacturing, electronics and management. Aerospace Engineers are involved in work at the leading edge of technology in an international industry.
Studying Aerospace Engineering at UNSW The study of Aerospace Engineering at UNSW is primarily through the School of Mechancial and Manufacturing Engineering (www.mech.unsw.edu.au/). Postgraduate study in Aerospace Engineering is available within the Master of Engineering Science program. The School also offers Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate programs.
