Description

Modern Greek is one of the very important community languages in Australia, as well as a language with a great heritage. Greek Studies aims to provide students with proficiency in spoken and written Modern Greek through practical language work. Greek Studies at UNSW also involves an understanding of the way Greek society has developed through the study of Greek literature, history and culture in addition to language.

The School of Languages and Linguistics (http://languages.arts.unsw.edu.au/greek/greek.html) offers opportunities for postgraduate study through the degrees of Master of Arts (by Research) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
