Description

Drug development is an area of medical specialisation relating to the discovery, development and marketing of medicines. Students interested in careers that relate to the development and safe use of medicines will be interested in the programs of study offered by UNSW.

Graduates of drug development programs may become involved in developing new medicines; regulatory affairs; clinical trials; market development; medical department administration; preclinical studies, etc. Career opportunities exist in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, government and in research institutions such as universities.
